ESP Certified
Most of our manufacturing partners honor another green certification through KCMA (the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association). ESP, (Environmental Stewardship Program), certification requirements are based on a major commitment to sound environmental practices. To obtain this certification, our manufacturing partners are required to meet strict specific criteria in the following areas of cabinetry manufacturing, resources, stewardship and community: air quality, product resource management, process resource management, environmental stewardship and community relations.
These principles of ESP, covering all aspects of responsible cabinetry manufacturing, assure the end user of a product that is held to a significantly higher environmental standard. These principles, standards and processes are resolutely in place and adhered to by manufacuring partners, every single day, day after day, without exception.
ESP was launched in 2006 and is the only environmental certification program that specifically focuses on kitchen and bath cabinetry. ESP requires manufacturers to annually review practices to safeguard the environment, track achievements, and continually seek new production methods and better practices.

We also offer cabinetry that is FSC Certified
FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Established in 1993 as a response to concerns over global deforestation, FSC is widely regarded as one of the most important initiatives to promote responsible forest management worldwide.
FSC is a chain of custody certification system that provides internationally recognized standard-setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services to companies, organizations, and communities interested in responsible forestry. Our FSC chain of custody certificate allows for credible and precise tracking of FSC approved materials from the forest where the lumber is grown, through all stages of material handling and production.
Achieving an FSC certification establishes that our manufactureing partners are duly authorized to provide an optional cabinetry product that employs the most up to date procedures in responsible forestry practices.
Increasingly, more and more private entities, governments and other specifiers stipulate FSC certified products in their procurement programs and specifications. The FSC label provides a credible link to enable consumers and businesses to make purchasing decisions that benefit both people and the environment. FSC is represented in over 50 countries worldwide.
Pro Stock Kitchens is pleased to offer this important green thinking option.
